• Forming and reinforcement: Forms are set to exact dimensions and elevations. Steel rebar is placed according to engineering specifications. For footings, we use continuous rebar both horizontally and vertically tied together.
• Utility coordination: Any plumbing, electrical, or HVAC penetrations are installed before concrete placement. This includes floor drains, water lines, and electrical conduits.
• Concrete placement: We use concrete with the correct strength rating for foundation applications, typically 3,000 to 4,000 PSI. Concrete is placed, vibrated to eliminate air pockets, and finished to proper levels.
• Curing and backfilling: Proper curing time is essential before backfilling or loading the foundation. We protect fresh concrete from temperature extremes and maintain moisture during the curing period.

Foundation work typically takes longer than other concrete projects because of the multiple steps and required curing time between phases. A typical residential foundation might take one to two weeks from excavation to completion. Weather, inspections, and project complexity affect the timeline. We keep you informed throughout the process and coordinate inspections as required.

After completion, we provide documentation of the work including any inspection certificates and warranty information. If you are working with a general contractor on a larger project, we coordinate with them to ensure the foundation is ready for the next construction phase on schedule.
